With a refined but approachable menu, Ombretta is making all of its food in-house, sourcing sustainable seasonal local and DOP imported ingredients since 2013 as well as offering monthly regional highlights and wine tasting themed events to their Sydney crowds.
Ombretta is under the guidance of the owner and longtime restaurant manager Giacomo Palladin. The kitchen is under the supervision of chef Aldo Farroni.
The historical building (ca. 1890) and the recently renovated interiors pay tribute to Glebe’s past while creating a familiar and approachable atmosphere.
The covered front courtyard facing the quieter part of Glebe Point Road is a fantastic place to unwind on a warm summer night but is equipped to give shelter from Sydney’s unpredictable weather, too.
